During the sessions, families will participate in a 90-minute instructional session with each class dedicated to a theme, with a 30-minute conversation afterward to discuss what they learned.
Organized by the Virginia Beach Human Services Department’s Behavioral Health and Wellness Prevention Services Unit, the classes are free and will start on Tuesday, Feb. 7, and meet every Tuesday for 13 weeks.
The classes will be given at the Renaissance Academy located at 5100 Cleveland Road from 6-8 p.m. Attendees will also be treated to a family dinner.
