Flu season hits Pueblo early
by zach hillstrom the pueblo chieftainThe flu has come early to Pueblo County.
In 2014-15, the annual flu season resulted in 149 hospitalized cases in Pueblo — a 10-year high, according to the health department.

That’s what recent numbers from the Pueblo City-County Health Department indicate, as 86 confirmed cases of influenza have been reported across the city since Oct. 1.
Crowder says that the health department is offering a special type of Flu vaccine designed especially for the elderly.
